工作原理

带轮靠摩擦力传动，在安装时，带必须张紧。但在工作一段时间后被拉长变松，容易打滑，必须重新张紧。如果两传动轮的中心距无法调整时，则必须使用张紧轮以保证正常传动而不致打滑。 [1] 张紧轮利用弹簧或油压等产生一个将皮带绷紧的力，使得皮带能以合适的压力压在工作皮带轮上。

注意事项
1.张紧轮张紧力不能过小，过小会让皮带与工作轮间摩擦力变小，最终导致皮带打滑。同样张紧轮张紧力不能过大，过大的张紧力会让皮带负荷加大，导致皮带损坏，同时导致工作轮的轴承损坏。
2.张紧轮一般应放在松边内侧，使带只受单向弯曲，同时还应尽量靠近大轮，以免过分影响小带轮的包角。若张紧轮置于松边外侧，则应尽量靠近小带轮。张紧轮的轮槽尺寸与带轮的相同，且直径小于小带轮的直径。

Working principle

Device application

2. If the tension wheel is placed on the outside of the loose edge, it should be as close to the small belt wheel as possible.
